| Five for a fiver During the school holidays , up to five people (maximum 2 adults) can travel on the Arriva network all day for only £5! The school term has come to an end, holidays are on the way and you’re already racking your brains for what to do with the kids over the hols! During July and August, Buckinghamshire County Council and Arriva the Shires and Essex have teamed up again to ensure that you and your children will no longer be at a loose end during the summer holidays. Up to two adults and three children can make any bus journey on Arriva services from the Aylesbury or High Wycombe area for only £5. Whether it’s sightseeing in Oxford, shopping in Reading or simply enjoying the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, for only £5 for all the family this offer really is too good to miss! Leaflets advertising the offer give helpful details of where customers could travel to as part of the offer – including Bekonscot Model Village, Hell Fire Caves, shops and museums in Oxford and Henley-on-Thames. There are also fantastic competitions running on Mix 96 and Mix 107 for families to win FREE ‘5 for a fiver’ bus tickets and FREE entry to local attractions.
